Starting From Zero Is Fine

Never ordered street food for delivery before? That is not a problem. This page walks through everything, from understanding how vendors work to placing your first order without second-guessing yourself.

The Basics

What Street Food Delivery Actually Means

Street food delivery is not the same as ordering from a restaurant. The vendors are food trucks and street carts — often small operations run by one or two people. The food is made to order, usually faster than a sit-down restaurant, and the flavors are specific to the vendor's background and recipes.

When you order through Project Forge, you are not ordering from a central kitchen. You are ordering from a specific truck. The menu reflects what that truck actually makes.

1

Pick a Dish, Not Just a Category

The menu lists individual items with descriptions. Read the description. Birria tacos and al pastor tacos are very different things from very different cooking traditions. The description tells you what you are actually getting.

2

Check the Delivery Address Carefully

Street food travels. But it does not travel indefinitely. Make sure your address is within the delivery radius shown at checkout. Apartment numbers, gate codes, and floor details all matter — there is a field for them.

3

Understand the Delivery Fee

Orders under $25 carry a $3.99 delivery fee. Orders at or above $25 deliver free. This is shown clearly before you confirm. No surprise fees appear after checkout.

4

Cash on Delivery

Payment happens at the door when the driver arrives. Have the approximate amount ready. The driver carries limited change, so having close to the right amount helps.

Common Questions

Things People Usually Ask First

No. You can browse the menu and place an order without creating an account. You provide your name, phone number, and delivery address at checkout. That is all the platform needs to process and deliver your order.

Delivery time depends on the vendor's current prep time and your distance from the truck. A realistic window is 30 to 45 minutes for most orders within the delivery radius. The estimated time is shown before you confirm your order.

Currently, each order is fulfilled by a single vendor. This keeps prep and delivery times accurate. If you want items from different trucks, those would be separate orders. For event catering with multiple vendors, contact the team directly.

Vendors set their own hours and can pause orders when they are at capacity. If a vendor is unavailable, their items will not show as available for ordering. The menu only displays items from vendors who are currently active.

There is no minimum order amount. Orders under $25 carry a $3.99 delivery fee. Orders at $25 or above deliver free. You can order a single item if that is what you want.
